My interest in Viking re-enactment began during research for my novel ‘Message From The Gods’. I visited the Bloodaxe Vikings someone handed me an axe and a shield i was hooked.
My background includes 30 years in commercial printing. Carer in two residential homes for youngers with Autism. Hospital Cleaner and part time youth work. My first novel Sorry Was Never Enough was published in 2018. I have 2 more under review later this year Sleipnir hope to secure grant funding to publish my first children’s book Alex The Purple Mouse.
Sleipnir is the perfect vehicle to bring all my life skills together

I started my re-enactment journey in 2009 and I have enjoyed working with many different people. In 2012, with the help of a couple friends we started Vikings of Mercia of which I am a committee member and training officer. Since starting my journey all those years ago I have amassed a wide range of skills; woodworking, leatherwork, and metalwork.
I was asked to join Sleipnir Creations CIC as I am resourceful and have a good analytical mind. It has been a pleasure working together with the other Directors of Sleipnir and I can not wait to see the amazing things we will accomplish together.
